Welcome to 2019 !!!!!

If last year is any indication, 2019 is going to be the best year yet for the Stone Head Nature Preserve and Stone Head Conservancy!

Over the course of 2019, we will be adding more and more content to this site, on top of all that we added in last year, including online memberships and donations, our new blog, already with some great posts, a new property map/brochure, and much, much more.

But you don’t have to wait. You can get the latest news of all that is happening with the Preserve and the Conservancy, by following us on Facebook. It’s easy! Just click on the Facebook logo in the bottom right corner of this page.

Stone Head Nature Preserve boasts 5.4 miles of trails through wetlands, meadows, and forested ridges interspersed with deep ravines. The Preserve is open to the public 365 days a year from dawn to dusk. It is our hope that you will, along these spirited trails, find release from the demands and tensions of today’s world. We hope this communion with nature will help you re-focus, with a clearer lens, on life’s more meaningful values and that you may find within yourself a deeper appreciation of the wonder of it all.

In these pages on our website, you’ll find information on both the Stone Head Nature Preserve (the place) and the Stone Head Conservancy (the people), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining the Preserve for many generations to come.

Our website is divided into categories. Use the drop-down menus on the navigation bar to access the various pages in each category. For instance, the Memberships page is located under the Stone Head Conservancy category. But to make sure you don’t have to look all over the site to find what you’re looking for, all pages can be accessed from any other page on the website.

Our Calendar page will let you know what events, outings, work days, board meetings, etc., we have scheduled. If there is a particular aspect of nature you would like to see us focus on through our events and outings, be sure to let us know.

Every page on our website has a sidebar where you can opt in to receive secure email notifications of happenings at the Preserve and Conservancy. Sign up today so you don’t miss out on anything.

If you would like to become more involved in the Preserve, be sure to check out our Memberships page. (We’re always looking for members with new ideas.)

You can also print your own trail map for the property or get directions to the property on the Maps/Directions page.

There is much more to come, but, for now, enjoy and be sure to Contact Us! with any questions, comments, etc., you may have.

Enjoy your Preserve!
